Greece has long been in economic trouble and threatens the structure of the EU. That something needs to be done to address this situation is in no doubt.
The Greek default is soon to be resolved but we must consider the impacts on the rest of Europe. Greece is not the only EU country in economic trouble, so where will the line be drawn? Do countries such as Portugal, Italy or Ireland deserve the same sort of help? If not, why should they shoulder all of their debt when Greece has been given a "get out of jail free" card?
It boils down to what kind of focality the Greek resolution will have.
